Lessons are led by our founder, Dr. Andjelita Chendra, who holds a PhD in Piano Performance and Music Pedagogy from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, together with experienced teachers committed to ongoing professional development.
Do you teach adults?
Yes. Adult beginners and returning players are welcome on every instrument. Adult students also perform at our Annual Concert.
What age can my child start?
Children can start as soon as they are ready to focus for a short lesson. A trial lesson is the best way to find out whether your child is ready.
Which exam boards do you prepare students for?
ABRSM and Trinity College London (TCL), for practical, theory and aural. London College of Music (LCM) exams are available on request.
Do you teach higher-grade and diploma students?
Yes. Students at Grades 6 to 8 and candidates for ABRSM and Trinity performance diplomas study under the personal tutelage of Dr. Andjelita Chendra, on piano, violin and flute, with advanced theory and aural alongside. More about higher grades and diplomas →
Can I try a lesson first?
Yes. A trial is $58 for either two 30-minute sessions or one 1-hour session. When you enrol, the $50 registration fee is waived and books are complimentary.
Are there chances to perform?
Every year our students perform at the Annual Concert, and students who are ready are prepared for competitions such as Music Singapore.
How are terms and holidays arranged?
Each term has 11 weekly lessons. Closures are planned around public holidays so every student receives all 11. See the school calendar.
